Symptom 1: Coil not recognized by MR Scanner
Cause: Bad solder joint for wire going to coil ID board
Fix: Re-soldering the joint
Symptom 2: Rattling in the Gateway
Cause: Disconnected 50 Ohm terminator in the gateway
Fix: Resoldering the disconnected terminator
Cause: LNA becoming disconnected
Fix: Reconnecting LNA, optional zip tie fix
Alternative Cause: Dead LNA
Alternative Fix: Swapping out LNA altogether
Symptom 3: No Signal
Symptom 4: Poor signaling/shading
Cause: Broken/sheared BNC cable in the coil
Fix: Replace BNC cable
Symptom 5: Intermittent Loss of Signal
Cause: Dislodged decoupling circuit
Fix: Retuning, soldering, and curing trap
Symptom 6: Low/no signal at start of acquisition with short TEs and moderate flip angles
Cause: Slow response of LNA (preamp)
Fix: Modified/faster LNA from MR Clinical Solutions
Alternative Fix: Increase tune delay for coil switching
